The sebaceous (sp?) glands and suderiforous (sp?) glands work together as a team. The healthy functioning of these glands creates a hydro-lipid (or oil & water emulsion) base. This base combines with keratin protein (dead skin cells) to make up the surface of your skin (the epidermal layer).
